| "Lauren and I cannot express how grateful we are to have had the opportunity to host the soldiers on Sunday night, for the great honor to have participated in the huge mitzvah of Hachnasat Orchim, and to have been able to meet, hug, and thank our brothers who have given so much of their lives both physically and emotionally for our people and for our homeland. We have truly felt the connection to these special people, to our community, to Am Yisrael, and to Hashem. You and Shevy are so wonderful to be doing this and so many other things to “kindle the sparks” for so many… you are an inspiration, and may this be one event, G‑d willing, among many, many simchas and blessings that we share for years to come." |

Dear Rabbi Vigler,
Congratulations for an amazing organization bringing the Israeli soldiers.
It was so clear how the soldiers are so excited from all the activity around them and for everything that was done for them.
Also by the story of the soldiers, the community feels more connected to Israel, and it gives to the community the willing to do more and be more involved b”h.
Well done for taking the soldiers for a meeting in the White House, this is a great contribution to the Israeli P.R which is not easy these days…
Friday night dinner was very exciting the delivery of the dinner (the service) was amazing, the tools that the food was served with were so beautiful, the food was excellent - all three courses and the stories of the soldiers were moving.
The crowd was from different streams, and you could feel the ACHDUTH!
KOL AKAVOD to you, your wife Shevi, and to Hashem.
Keep up the wonderful job
With lots of appreciation,
May Hashem bless you and all your family..

| "Kol Hakavod to Shevy Vigler and her husband on this most timely act of chesed!" |
| "I was at Ohr Hachayim Program and heard all your Rabbis from the neighborhood and that kid from Ramaz who spoke respectfully and righteously about the soldiers --- never invoking slander on the enemy but rather focusing on their brothers bravery. Chabad, Orach Chaim, KJ, Ramaz, Eastside, Westside, etc all under one roof with one common cause…amazing. Kol Hakavod to Rabbi Shmidman and Lookstein and of course to Rabbi Vigler and the guy who started speeches at program with the bow tie (did not hear his name)" |
"OC Program was very moving. Touched by you, a father acknowledging and offering comfort to pain and anguish of another father."

| Great seeing you at the Dinner – a truly memorable evening. Those Viglers are amazing! |
| I came to the Orach Chaim Program to do my share of uplifting of these soldiers spirits and came away uplifted by the soldiers. When Adam got up to speak, I loved to see how excited the soldiers were to hear from him and very moved (lots of Kleenex) by the standing ovation he elicited from us for the soldiers. |
| Thank you for including us in the program. Rabbi Vigler said it perfectly “Am Yisrael Chai!”. |
|
I just read the blog you wrote about the soldiers' visit prior to the wonderful Friday night dinner I attended last Shabbat, and I also re-read the soldiers' bio's.
Having met the soldiers in person and heard them speak I was just left stunned once again by their courage and by the privilege of having been able to meet them and thank them for their service.
I want to thank you and Shevy as well for making this possible.
It was truly an extraordinary event.
I will never forget these brave young chayalim.
Thank you once again for making this possible - for them and for those of us who came to bear witness.
|
Thank you for letting me participate in a wonderful event. The outpouring of love for our soldiers was so great I felt it unified the Jewish community of New York.
Please tell them that it was an honor, a privilege, to meet each and every one of them. They inspired me to stop feeling sorry for myself, and to focus on the Big Picture.
Mazel tov to you and Shevy on an exceptionally beautiful program! |
| I checked out your photo albums of the Israeli soldiers... they are awesome. I am sure it took a village to make this trip happen but it looks like it was an enormous success. You certainly pulled out all the stops- Mazeltov! |
| I almost cried when I saw the pictures of their trip. Kol Hakavod to those of you who made this trip possible |
|
רבי ויגלר, יישר כח גדול אין מילים!!!
|
| I must share with you how BIG and GREAT it is to read what you and your wife are doing. Although we are not actively involved, as we are mostly in Israel and China, we admire your activities, enthusiasm and ability to execute and do so many great things related to Judaism in such a nice and attractive way, with Israelis. If we were only able to do that in Israel, we would have much more ‘ahavat chinam’…Kol Hakavod!! |
| Dear Rabbi Vigler: You have done some incredible work on the Upper East Side in the past few years, but this undertaking was monumental. I attended the Shabbat afternoon program at Orach Chaim and it was one of the most meaningful events in my entire life. Kol Hakavod |
| I think what you did is unbelievable. It also set an incredible example to the community. Kol Hakavod. |
| Kudos again to you and Shevy for what I’m sure was an unbelievable experience for those 10 soldiers. Hopefully when they get back to Israel they will spread the word of your chesed and generous spirit and tell all of Israel how much our community loves them. |
| Yasher Koach Rabbi Vigler. You have done an amazing thing with the chayalim. I was crying when one of the chayalim told me that he thanked u for taking him away from the hospital treatment |
| "Yasher Koach to you and Shevy and everyone who worked on this project! I shed a few tears when I looked at the pictures. The joy and smiles you put on their faces.....and the pictures where they are playing with the kids....Amazing." |
| By far this has been a project that took so much effort and dedication on your part and Shevy's that I salute you! Your determination and desire for a perfect 10 days, showed how committed you are to what you do best every day - building a great community and helping AM ISRAEL. |
| I am filled with tears and emotion after watching the video. I really am at a loss for words except thank you for sharing the video and inviting us to be a part of this unbelievable experience. You and Shevy are incredible to have organized such an unbelievable trip for these very special soldiers. I don't know how you do it. I hope there will be an opportunity to bring more soldiers over and for us to become more involved. |
